Amazonas Florestal Ltd. owns several substantial virgin rainforest properties in the northern Brazilian Amazon located in the State of Amazonas. 

Our properties contain old growth native rainforests that contain a wide assortment of tropical hardwood species. More than 40 that are commercially valuable today. 

The Company intends to preserve its properties through Sustainable Forest Management gaining certification of its Carbon Credits. 

The Company’s primary land holdings are located in the municipality of Borba and Atalaia do Norte. These properties are located within the area known as the REDZONE. This title is given as the result of project studies performed by the United Nations and IBAMA that clearly outline the areas expected to be lost to various forms of deforestation in the coming 2 to 5 decades.

The Brazilian Amazon represents over half of the planet’s remaining rainforest cover, and it comprises the largest and most species diverse tracts of untouched tropical rainforest in the world. Amazonas Florestal is committed to the sustainable and environmentally responsible management of these forests.

For this purpose, Amazonas Hemp was created and studies begun to plant Industrial Hemp in the State. On ground presence has been established in Colorado and the Company expects to plant its first crop in May 2016.
